Returning Kendoka (Malaysian & Non-Malaysian) – FAQ.
This document is written with the purpose of assisting Kendoka (Malaysian & Non-Malaysian) from FIK (International Kendo Federation) affiliated dojo(s) who intend to continue their training with the KL-JCKL Dojo as a visiting member or a long term member.
TRAINING SCHEDULE:
1.1 Visiting Member
A. Definition of "Visiting Member"
You are currently a permanent member at your dojo back at another state or country but would like to continue training during your visit to Kuala Lumpur. You will be returning to your dojo after a short period of time (ie. **Days, weeks or maybe up to 3 months).
B. Training Fee
No training fee will be imposed.
C. Notification of Visit ("Proper notification of your visit MUST be submitted, at least 3 business days PRIOR to your 1st visit")
Please submit the following information of yourself, highlighting the intention of your visit, to enquiriesmka@gmail.com at least 3 business days BEFORE your first visit.

1.2 Long Term Member.
A. Definition of "Long Term Member"
You were a member at your previous dojo and will be in Kuala Lumpur, for studying/work/returning from overseas, for a long period of time (ie.**more than 3 months) and wish to continue training at the KL-JCKL Dojo.
B. Training Fee
In order to become a long term member of the KL-JCKL Dojo, you will be required to have two memberships:

D. Registration Forms
MKA Membership
The MKA Membership registration form will be emailed to you after you have emailed your intention to become a long term member.

JCKL Membership
The JCKL Membership registration form can be obtained from the JCKL Reception Counter (kindly refer to the image below).
All new JCKL members must obtain the signature of a Japanese-ethnic Kendo member (usually a Japanese Kendo sensei can do this for you) from the KL-JCKL Dojo.
NOTE: Completed JCKL Application Forms and membership applications can only be made at the JCKL Reception Counter (NOT with the Malaysia Kendo Association). Please have this done within the first two weeks of your visit. Failure to apply and pay JCKL membership dues may result in barred entry into JCKL premises for Kendo training.
