MKA POLICY FOR MEASURES AGAINST NEW CORONA VIRUS INFECTION

Infection Prevention Guidelines for Examinations
(MKA follows AJKF exam guidelines)
People who meet the following conditions cannot take an examination:
  1. People with symptoms such as a fever, cough, or sore throat, or if their condition is different than normal.
  2. People living with a family member or a close acquaintance that is suspected of being infected.
  3. People who within the last 14 days have traveled to or had close contact with a person from a country or region that is restricted by the government, or after entry have had to undergo a period of observation.

Entering the venue
  1. To prevent the spread of infections, everyone is requested to wear a mask to and from the examination venue.
  2. Disinfect hands with the alcohol spray that is placed at the entrance.
  3. MKA Examination Officials will take everyone's temperatures and check everyone's RTK test results. You must do your RTK and take pictures on the day. Without showing your RTK, you will not allow entering the examination hall and "no refund your registration fee"
  4. People whose temperature is 37.5 ̊C or over will not be allowed to enter.
  5. MKA Examination Officials will assign each dojo a place to put their stuff. Please follow MKA Official's instructions.

Important points for inside the examination venue
  1. Everyone shall exercise physical distancing by keeping at least 1m (2m if possible) away from other people.
  2. Hall, chairs, tables will be sanitized.
  3. Everyone has to take home their own trash. 

Calling examinees, distributing examinee numbers, waiting for the practical examination
  1. Examinees must wear a Mask for the practical examination.
  2. Examinees must follow the instructions given by MKA Court Officials.

Announcement of passing the practical examination
  1. After the 6 Kyu to 4 Kyu examination, candidates must leave immediately and the result will be announce on the MKA website.
  2. For 3 Kyu to 4 Dan. Passing examinees will then take the kata examination. Examinees that failed Taichai, should leave the venue promptly.
  3. For 1 Dan to 4 Dan. Passing examinees will then take the written test. Examinees that failed Kata, should leave the venue promptly.
** If you develop a COVID-19 infection within two weeks of the examination finishing, immediately contact  MKA @ 0122079221 (Alice) and give details of the people you were in direct contact with.
